(CMR) Judith “MollyAnn” Douglas (57), who was arrested in a rent scam after CMR posted about her numerous schemes, has now been charged with five counts of obtaining property by deception.
Douglas, who now goes by various names, including Kim and Francia Antoine, appeared in court this morning.
On Sunday, 5 March, officers arrested the Bodden Town woman on suspicion of multiple counts of obtaining property by deception in relation to a rental scam involving the purported rental of a premises on Diaz Lane in George Town.
Douglas is accused of taking deposits from persons interested in renting the property without actually offering it for rent. However, CMR understands that over 20 people are victims of her scam.
