(CMR) The National Roads Authority (NRA) will host two public meetings next month on the East-West Arterial extension.
The public meetings will be held February 7 and 9 from 6 to 9 pm in North Side and Bodden Town, with representatives from the NRA and their EIA Consulting Team available to provide information about the project and answer questions.
The first meeting will be held in North Side on February 7 at the Craddock Ebanks Civic Centre, located at 923 North Side Road. The second meeting will be held in Bodden Town on February 9 at the Baptist Church Hall at 163 Pedro Castle Road.
An Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) addressing the project will be conducted in accordance with the National Conservation Council Directive for Environmental Impact Assessments, Section 43, National Conservation Law.
The draft Terms of Reference (ToR), which guides how the EIA process occurs, will be made available on the Department of Environment's website for review for 21 calendar days beginning 30 January 2023.

Comments on the draft ToR can be submitted in writing to the Environmental Assessment Board c/o
