(CMR) Luisto Hernandez, a man who was wanted by the police, has been arrested and charged with attempted murder and possession of an unlicensed firearm in relation to a shooting in Windsor Park earlier this year.
In the 20 April incident, a man was hospitalized after he was shot in the abdomen on Oakland Close in Windsor Park.
Hernandez (27) was located at a Bodden Town address by the police on Monday, 14 November. A 22-year-old-woman of Bodden Town was also arrested along with Hernandez on suspicion of defeating the course of justice for assisting him in evading the police. She was later bailed pending further investigation.
Hernandez appeared before the court today, Thursday, 17 November, and has been remanded in custody pending a further appearance on 25 November.
