(CMR) – The Cayman Islands Customs and Border Control Service (CBC) confirms that nine (9) migrants arrived on the south side of Cayman Brac in two separate vessels at approximately 4:30 pm on Tuesday, 15 November 2022.
They will be processed in accordance with CBC’s established protocols.
This is the latest in Cuban arrivals to the sister island, which has been inundated recently with migrants. The current number is estimated to be around 57 individuals. Sources revealed that about 30 were recently transported to Grand Cayman for ongoing processing.
