(CMR) The recent spate of nightly armed robberies is not letting up, with the criminals appearing to be one step ahead of the authorities. In some of the latest incidents, women have been targeted by armed men, including a woman returning home Thursday morning at Ocean Point Villas. She arrived home shortly after 1:20 am on Thursday morning a the apartment complex on Andresen Road in West Bay, close to the Pappagallos area. It was reported that a woman had just parked at the location at the same time that another vehicle pulled up and parked nearby.

The men then returned to the vehicle and fled the scene with her handbag which contaned a mobile phone, sunglasses, documents , and a quantity of cash.
Residents in the complex shared with CMR that their community is normally quiet and crime free. However, now they have concerns about a security guard that went missing during the incident. Sources incide that he claims to have been in the area of the pool gazebo but in fact was not seen for at least 3.5 hours including after the incident when the police arrived.
Many are questioning his version of events and why he would not have been patrolling the entire complex including the parking lot.
She was frightened but not physically injured during the incident. One of the suspects is described as being of light brown complexion, of chubby build, and about 5’8” in height. He was wearing a red hoodie, mask, and grey jeans.
Sources shared that she was:

The third man is described as being of light brown complexion, skinny build and tall in height, and was wearing a white hoodie. They drove a dark grey Honda sedan.
