(CMR) Police are now investigating the armed robbery that took place at Subway restaurant in East End Monday evening, 31 October.
Reports are that shortly before 7 pm, the 9-1-1 Communications Centre dispatched officers to a report of a robbery at a restaurant on Queens Highway. It was reported that a masked man entered the restaurant, brandished a firearm, and demanded cash from workers there. He then fled the scene with a quantity of cash.
The suspect is described as being about 5’10” in height, of light complexion, and was dressed in all black, with black pants, shoes, gloves, and a mask. The man reportedly left in a silver sedan.
The matter is under investigation by Bodden Town CID. Anyone with any information is asked to contact 947-2220.
