(CMR) A 30-year-old man from Bodden Town who pulled a gun on an officer last month after he was unable to outrun the officer due to his obese condition has been arrested.
The man was arrested on Thursday, 27 October, in relation to the incident which took place on Friday, 23 September. The RCIPS reported that the man pointed a firearm at the police officer after being stopped in relation to a motor vehicle collision.
The man has since been charged with possession of an imitation firearm with the intent to commit a crime, namely causing harassment, alarm, or distress. Additionally, he was charged with driving without insurance and driving whilst disqualified, He will appear in court on Monday, 31 October.
