(CMR) A Texas woman who has worked at a family medical practice for 20 years reportedly caught an STD after the janitor put his penis in her water bottle.
Reports are that the woman used to get water from the employee water dispenser; however, she recently began bringing in her own bottles because she noticed the water had a weird taste and smell.
A few days after starting to bring in her own 16-ounce water bottle, the worker noticed her water also had a horrible smell. Unable to figure out what might have caused the odor, she said she threw the bottle away and bought a new one, Star-Telegram reported.
In September, when a coworker volunteered to make coffee, the woman provided her with her own water , but they noticed the liquid inside her personal water bottle was yellow and smelled like pee. The woman then informed the doctor she worked for, and she had a medical assistant complete a urinalysis on the liquid.
The test confirmed urine was in the water, and the janitor Lucio Catarino Diaz was suspected to be responsible. A spy camera confirmed that he was responsible.
The woman explained to ABC 13 that the man “Pulls out his penis and puts his penis in my bottle, basically rinses his penis in the water.”
Diaz (50) was recently charged in Harris County with “aggravated assault – bodily injury with a deadly weapon.”
Authorities said the man was infected with herpes simplex virus type 1 and chlamydia when arrested on 5 October.
“I learned I acquired (a sexually-transmitted disease) for which he also tested positive for,” she said. “He gave me an STD I will have for the rest of my life. Nothing is going to change it. Nothing will make it better for me. In fact, I feel like, for the rest of my life, I will have to be careful.”
