(CMR) Four armed men robbed McRuss Grocery Store off Marina Drive and Party Lane in Prospect shortly before 11:00 pm Wednesday night when they entered the store brandishing weapons. CMR understands that multiple guns were involved and the incident happened as the staff was tidying up for closing.
The robbers got away wth cigarettes, HQD electronic vapes, cigars, an unknown quantity of cash and coins. One report is that all the cash in the register was taken, but no shots were fired.
CCTV footage has been provided exclusively to CMR. The robbers wore coverings over their faces with black and gray hoodies and face coverings. One had on distinctive bright-colored gloves, with one wearing no gloves at all. Anyone anyone with information is asked to contact the police immediately.
