(CMR) Sergeant Shawn Abshire Bodden was arrested following a report of a domestic incident that occurred at a residence on Pedro Road on July 31. He was subsequently granted bail and has been suspended from duty pending the outcome of the investigation.
Police confirmed that the matter is under investigation and a file will be submitted to the Director of Public Prosecution for a ruling.
Bodden was involved in another incident on August 4 that went viral on social media. In that matter, he was found in his vehicle with his 19-year-old girlfriend. The wife spotted them as she was taking her lunch break, and eyewitnesses said it sent her into a rage.
CMR understands that Bodden has been maintaining the love triangle with his wife and Oniela Ewers, his girlfriend.
Inside sources shared that he had told her the 2-year relationship had ended and was working to repair their marriage. She also had concerns that money he had on him to pay workmen for house repairs would be frivolously spent on the girlfriend.
The incident culminated in the parties crashing into a palm tree and eventually in the parking lot of Automotive Art.
