(CMR) Charles Leonard Walton III, who was arrested by the police after he was listed as wanted last December, is again wanted by the police. Walton is wanted by the police for firearms offenses, is known to be violent, and is believed to be armed and dangerous.
The RCIPS, in a release, said it was seeking the public’s assistance in locating the 25-year-old, who is approximately 6’4”, with dreadlocks and was last known to be living in Prospect. The police are advising the public that he should not be approached by members of the public but instead to call 9-1-1 upon sighting him.
Last year police gave a similar warning when they said Walton was wanted.
Investigators are encouraging anyone with information about the whereabouts of this man to call the George Town Police Station at 949-4222 or dial 9-1-1, specifically if the circumstances are time-sensitive.
The public is being reminded that according to the Police Act (2021 Revision), it is an offense to obstruct, mislead or act in such a way as to prevent the apprehension of a person who has committed an offense. If prosecuted under this section, you may be liable on conviction to a fine of $5000 or imprisonment for two years or both.
