(CMR) Kelvin Scott (53), a man who used a knife to cut a woman in the face during an altercation in Cayman Brac on Monday, 20 June, was arrested on suspicion of wounding, threats to kill, possession of an offensive weapon, causing fear or provocation of violence, and breach of a probation order.
Police reported that shortly after 8:00 PM on Monday, officers responded to a report of a wounding incident at an address in Cayman Brac. It was reported that Scott and the woman known to each other had been involved in an altercation, during which the man brandished a knife and cut the woman on her face.
Emergency services attended, and the woman was transported to the Faith Hospital by ambulance for treatment and subsequently discharged.
Scott left the location before the arrival of the officers, but on Wednesday, 22 June, officers arrested him.
