(CMR) Triple C School had a lockdown Tuesday morning after an individual who did not belong to the institution was seen on campus.
In an email to parents, Principal Leonora Mendoza-Hydes said immediately after spotting the individual at 8:25 am, “students and staff went into lockdown mode and secured classrooms.”
“Campus security, custodial and senior staff conducted the lockdown search for the individual, as per school safety procedures. No immediate threat to our students was evident,” the email stated.
The lockdown ended at 8:57 am.
Mendoza-Hydes said staff has since met to discuss safety protocols to make adjustments where necessary.
“Our students, faculty and staff remain our top priority,” Mendoza-Hydes said.
