UPDATE: Leandro Solomon has since been found safe.
(CMR) Police in Sandwell, UK, have sought the assistance of the public to locate Caymanian Leandro Solomon (31) who was last seen on Sunday, 10 April.
The Sandwell police have expressed concerns about his welfare and have appealed to the public to help them find him. The police said if anyone sees Solomon they should not approach him but to call 999 immediately, quoting log 383 of 10/4.
Solomon was arrested in Cayman in 2018 for indecent exposure and indecent assault after a viral video of him was widely circulated on social media.
Solomon reportedly made sexual advances to a female who was walking alone on South Church Street. When she refused his advances, he indecently exposed himself to her before assaulting her physically.
He was convicted in Grand Court in 2019 and was received a reduced sentence of four months in prison, but walked away free at the sentencing because the court had taken into consideration time already spent behind bars. At the time of his sentencing, his mental health was also taken into consideration.
According to the Sandwell Police Facebook page, Solomon was known to frequent the area in and around Sainsbury’s, Chapel Ash, and Wolverhampton.
He was described as five feet nine inches tall, of a stocky build, with short dark brown afro hair and a short dark brown beard.
He was last seen wearing a black or navy blue colored zip-up hoody, grey colored trousers, and dark colored trainers with white soles. He also has several tattoos, including large text on the right side of his neck.
