(CMR) Five dancers from Dreamchasers Cayman have been accepted to participate in the Harlem School of the Arts Dance, New York, Summer Intensive program. However, the young ladies need the help of Cayman to raise money to finance this dream come true.
The dancers accepted are Peyton Morrison, Mal'yka Morrison, Maia Pitta, Gianna Gregory, and Cassiedy Davis Quintero.
“We are pleased to say that with their hard work, discipline, passion, and commitment, ALL five dancers were successfully accepted into the program,” Dreamchasers Cayman said in a statement.
“It feels great coming from a tiny little Island jumping into this big opportunity. These girls have worked extremely hard and deserve this,” Dreamchasers added.
Dreamchasers Cayman is a dance company that Melisha Mcfield established in June 2017. The company has grown tremendously from humble beginnings and is now a favorite among artists who want to pursue a dance career. The company provides experienced, and quality dance instruction for artists who wish to develop their careers and are looking for opportunities both locally and internationally.
Harlem School of Dance is one of the top art schools in New York, a lot of great dancers have passed through there and ended up in world-renowned dance companies, on Broadway, and even in movies.
