(CMR) Strategic marketing and communications agency, Tower, has won multiple Caribbean Advertising Federation awards – the “Addy’s” for its work on the Cayman Islands Restaurant Month 2021 campaign.

Tower received a gold award for Restaurant Month branding in the category of Logo Development and a silver award for the overall initiative in the category of Integrated Consumer Campaign. The Restaurant Month campaign also attracted a bespoke award from the judges, called Judge’s Choice.

The Cayman Islands Restaurant Month campaign was carried out on behalf of Tower’s client, the Cayman Islands Tourism Association (CITA).

Ms. Lynne Byles, Managing Director of Tower, said she was delighted that Tower’s efforts had been recognized internationally once again.

“Tower is driven to achieve outstanding results for our clients, and CITA’s Restaurant Month campaign was no exception. These awards serve as evidence of the creative talent in our team,” she said.

Forty-six companies from the Caribbean submitted more than 670 entries into the competition. The Addy Awards play a key role in celebrating the achievements of the international advertising community – highlighting talent found across the Caribbean. Tower has won a series of Addy awards for creative projects over previous years.

The Restaurant Month campaign was developed to support Cayman’s restaurant industry, following the challenges posed by border closure due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Tower launched a rebrand, which included the rollout of a new website and the development of a new social media presence.

The initiative welcomed more participating restaurants, sponsors,, and community following than ever before and, new for 2022, introduced several Restaurant Month “Signature Events.”

“Supporting our local community is a big part of the Tower ethos, and the success of this campaign demonstrates our commitment to this,” Ms. Byles said. “Once again, we’ve proven how the power of great creative ideas can translate into outstanding commercial success stories.”

“We’ve had a strong start to the year, which we are channeling into other meaningful campaigns, ensuring our clients continue to achieve the results they deserve,” Ms. Byles added.
