(CMR) Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Van Jefferson welcomed his second child Sunday night after his wife went into labor while watching the Super Bowl from the stands.
Jefferson helped the Rams win the Super Bowl and then rushed to the hospital to be with his wife.
The Rams navigate their way to a comeback victory over the Bengals, winning 23-20, with Jefferson finishing with four catches and 23 receiving yards on the night.
As soon as the game went final, Jefferson rushed off the field and through the locker room to join his wife at the hospital.
The couple, who are high school sweethearts, are also parents to 5-year-old daughter Bella.
