(CMR) A motorcyclist who was thrown from his motorcycle in an accident early Wednesday morning, 17 November, was treated at the hospital and released.
Police said just 8:30 am, police and other emergency services were dispatched by the 9-1-1 Communication Centre to a report of a motor vehicle collision on Shamrock Road involving a motorcycle and a car.
The motorcyclist was thrown from the motorcycle and sustained injuries as a result. He was transported to the hospital by ambulance, where he was treated for what is believed to be non-life-threatening injuries and later released. No other injuries were reported to the police.
The Cayman Islands Fire Service also attended the location and assisted with clearing the roadway. The police are investigating this incident.
