(CMR) An unvaccinated 73-year-old male COVID positive patient at the Health Services Authority George Town hospital passed away Saturday night, November 13. This is Cayman's first COVID-related death in 2021 and third death in total since the beginning of the global COVID-19 pandemic.
The patient had pre-existing health conditions with recurring hospital admissions over the past year suffering from sepsis.
