(CMR) John Felder from Premier Automotive Export of an address in Miami, Florida was issued a cease and desist letter in late November 2019 from his former employer, Cayman Automotive Leasing Ltd. (CAL).
The letter notes that as a “former shareholder and former director” he was falsely representing to others that he was in control of the company. It went on to state that he was removed as director of the Company with immediate effect on August 14, 2019. Several weeks later, he was also removed as an account signatory on September 4, 2019.
The letter highlighted several alleged areas of concern.
The cease and desist letter claims that despite that in early September 2019 he instructed someone from a design company to cease work on the Company's new website and the redirect CAL's domain to his own Premier Automotive Export website.
In a further instance, on October 1, 2019 he purported to others that he was “still the largest shareholder” in CAL and further sent an email claiming to own the company website, intellectual property along with the company,s name, logo and printed material.
The letter ended with reminding Felder that the Company might “seek urgent injunctive relief” if he failed to comply with the cease and desist and could seek damages and costs.
This is a second in a series of documents that will be released on John Felder and his time at Cayman Automotive Leasing Ltd.
