(CMR) A man remains in hospital after he was wounded in the neck during an altercation with a woman on Wednesday. The woman (34) of George Town was arrested on suspicion of wounding and remains in custody.
Police reported that shortly after 10:30 pm, they responded to a report of a serious assault at an address on Patrick’s Avenue, George Town. It was reported that a man and a woman, known to each other, had been involved in an altercation, during which the man was wounded in the neck with an object.
The man was transported to the Cayman Islands Hospital by a third party. He remains in hospital in serious but stable condition.
Officers attended the hospital and subsequently arrested the suspect in the incident.
