Parents furious as Red Bay Primary School children forced into exorcism by school principal

“I'm too furious to be able to even explain all of this properly so I apologize but how can a principal be asking children of 9-11 years old about their sexuality??!! This is absolutely ridiculous. Not to mention her taking children out of the classroom for this foolishness along with touching and shaking people's children.”

Infuriated Red Bay Primary School Parent

(CMR) Several parents have reported that upset Red Bay Primary School students experienced two shocking instances of the school principal and religious minister, Dr. Vickie Frederick (Frederick-Armador), alleging that they are possessed by demons and forcing them to undergo some sort of exorcism against their will.

This execution has occurred during a time when the majority of Year Six students are preparing for examinations in three weeks.

Sources have shared that 23 children were involved in at least two exorcism sessions thus far this week. On both Wednesday and Thursday afternoons, the children were extracted from their classrooms to forcibly participate. Apparently, 2 Year Five kids and 21 Year Six children were taken out of class around 2-3:00 p.m. on Wednesday and asked about their sexuality and that they should raise their hand to indicate what category they fell into.

She then somehow decided that the children had demons inside of them and told them they must repent. They were then forced to drink “holy water” from small cups and instructed that in order to remove the demons they needed to beg God for forgiveness and repent before it was too late. Their heads were shaken “aggressively” as she prayed for them and forced them to say, “God, I need you”.

Parents don't know what was actually in the cups.

At one stage, she noted that if any child was uncomfortable they could leave. However, when they tried to leave they were not permitted to do so. One female child was so upset and was crying uncontrollably that she was allowed to leave but no one else had that opportunity.

It was shared that 18 of the 23 kids were crying and saying “they were going to hell and have demons inside of them”.

Apparently, Dr. Meredith Rankin and a nurse who is said to be a pastor were also brought in to further the exorcism process. It was repeated again on Thursday afternoon around 1:30 p.m. This time, the children reported that crosses were placed on their heads.

Multiple parents and government employees have reached out to CMR to indicate they are furious that this has been allowed to happen in any learning institution in the Cayman Islands.

During our investigations into this one parent who was unaware of any details asked Cayman Marl Road:

“I need to know (what happened) because my child came in the car crying and she wouldn’t tell me what happened”

Dr. Vickie Frederick-Amador has been the principal of Red Bay Primary School for almost 15 years after starting her career as an educator in the 1990s. Prior to that, she worked at East End Primary School as the principal for three years. She has a master's degree in Leadership, Educational Leadership and Administration and a bachelor's of science in Elementary Education, Spanish and Special Education.

Both she and Dr. M. Rankin have their respective doctorates is in theology. Rankin is the school's Special Education Needs Coordinator or SENCO.

She has served on several national educational strategic teams and local boards.

In 2017 she was the first Caymanian to be appointed as United Nations Ambassador after being nominated by the Word of Life Christian Fellowship. Word of Life Christian Fellowship is a non-governmental organization that has had consultative status with the U.N.’s Economic and Social Council since 1996.

She is the pastor of the Helping Hands for Christ Ministry Chruch for over 10 years and is a traveling missionary. She has seven children and multiple grandchildren.

She was featured in March as part of Honoring Women's month
