(CMR) CMR has learned the identity of a man arrested for causing death by dangerous driving in relation to the fatal accident in West Bay on Sunday.
Jordan Alister Telford (38) was arrested after the car he was driving collided with a bike being driven by Shemiah Grant, who died from injuries sustained in the crash.
While not naming Telford, police said the 38-year-old of West Bay was arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving and driving whilst impaired.
Emergency services responded to reports of the accident after 8:30 pm on Sunday. Grant was unresponsive at the scene of the collision and was transported to the hospital by ambulance, where he was later pronounced dead.
