(CMR) Deputy Governor and Head of the Civil Service, Franz Manderson, has issued a statement that the civil service is prepared for the new government and has taken its usual measures to ensure a smooth transition regardless of who forms the government. The statement was circulated earlier today via voice note:
His non-partisan message makes it clear that they are waiting on the formal swearing-in process to occur. The only group to have supplied a letter of intent to the Governor committing to having enough people to form a government is the Wayne Panton lead PACT.
