(CMR) Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago Dr. Keith Rowley has tested positive for COVID-19.

The Prime Minister began experiencing flu-like symptoms Monday evening and was subsequently tested for COVID-19. He is in isolation and is under medical supervision.

Rowley, who spent the Easter holidays in Tobago, was scheduled to receive his Covid-19 vaccine on the island today.

The PM was hospitalized in January after experiencing some discomfort. He underwent two heart procedures—an angiogram and angioplasty while he was hospitalized.
