(CMR) The Jamaica Constabulary Force has charged a 27-year-old woman with the murder of her 84-year-old grandmother.
The body of Advira Wilson-Palmer was found with stab wounds in a chicken coop at her home in Smithfield, Manchester, on Monday by her neighbors.
Her granddaughter Ramalia Rebecca Polkins has since been arrested and charged.
Community members have expressed shock at the gruesome killing of the elderly woman by her own family member, the Jamaica Observer reported.
According to community members, Wilson-Palmer's granddaughter did not live with her but visited her grandmother frequently.
