(CMR) A woman was admitted to hospital to treat what appeared to be non-life-threatening injuries following a single-vehicle collision on Tuesday, March 16.
According to the Royal Cayman Islands Police Service (RCIPS), shortly before 12:20 am, officers responded to a report of the crash on Shamrock Road in the vicinity of Lancelot Drive, involving a purple Nissan March.
The Nissan had been traveling eastbound when it left the roadway and collided with a wall, coming to a stop in the westbound lane.
Emergency services attended the scene, and the female driver of the vehicle was transported to the Cayman Islands Hospital. She remains in hospital being treated for what appear to be non-life-threatening injuries.
The matter is currently under investigation.
