(CMR) British Airways will make big cuts in its service to Bermuda, offering only one flight per week to the island as of next week.
This is a major cut as the airline offered five flights weekly to the island from the UK in December.
The Airline will fly from Gatwick on Thursdays and return to the UK on Fridays.
The recent cut in flights comes as the coronavirus pandemic continues to affect the airline industry worldwide.
The UK is among countries that have implemented mandatory COVID-19 testing for travelers. All international travelers will need to show proof of a negative test result upon arrival. The test must be done within 72 hours before arriving.
Air Canada has also canceled flights to Bermuda until April 12.
