(CMR) American president Donald Trump has been nominated for the Nobel peace prize by a Norwegian far-right MP, Christian Tybring-Gjedde.
In an interview on Fox News, the Progress Party’s Christian Tybring-Gjedde, said the peace deal brokered by the U.S. between Israel and the UAE was the reason for the nomination.
“For his merit, I think he has done more trying to create peace between nations than most other peace prize nominees,” said Christian Tybring-Gjedde.
In response to his nomination, Trump took to his favourite social media platform,Twitter,to share his gratitude.
