14-year-old Jenecia Barnes, who was reported missing on Friday evening, 4 September, has been located and appears to be in good health. The RCIPS thanks the public for their assistance in locating her.
(CMR) Concern parents are raising the alarm this evening after two teenagers have gone missing after school yesterday.
The police are asking for assistance locating a 14-year-old teen, Jennecia Barnes, this evening after she went missing yesterday in the vicinity of Powell Smith Drive in West Bay. CMR sources indicate that Yadira Carter also 14-years-old has gone missing with her. Her mother posted a message on social media asking for assistance in locating her.
Yesterday evening, 4 September, police received a report that Jenecia Barnes of George Town had not returned home from school or been located since, and are requesting the public’s assistance in locating her. Jenecia was last seen at the John Gray High School in her school uniform. She was wearing black sneakers and a pink and blue backpack. She is of light complexion with brown eyes and short brown hair, which was styled in a ponytail when she was last seen.
Anyone with information on her whereabouts is encouraged to call the George Town Police Station at 949-4222. Tips can also be submitted anonymously via the Miami-based call centre of Crime Stoppers at 800-8477(TIPS), or online.
