(CMR) Trinidad Tobago on Wednesday recorded 132 new COVID-19 cases, bringing the countries active case tally to 1,117.
According to the country's health ministries 10 a.m. update, the new cases resulted from samples taken during the period August 18 to 25, and is not representative of the positive cases over the last 24 hours.
The ministry further reported that at least another 432 COVID-19 patients would require hospitalisation.
To date, Trinidad and Tobago said it has performed a total of 17,834 unique patient tests, 2,922 tests have been repeated.
To date the island nation has 1,384 cases and there have been 15 deaths.
