(CMR) Three persons were arrested in George Town on Friday (June 5) after police went in search of a wanted man, Simon Newball.
Police have been looking for 43-year-old Simon Julio Newball after an incident on May 27 when he was alleged to have assaulted several officers.
Reports from the Royal Cayman Islands Police Service (RCIPS) are that officers had cause to execute a search warrant at an address at Fairlawn Drive in George Town in search of wanted man Simon Newball.
During the search, officers found parcels of ganja and drug paraphernalia and three persons were arrested on suspicion of possession of ganja with intent to supply, possession of drug utensils, and other offenses related to this incident.
The three arrested persons, a 32-year-old man of George Town, a 21-year-old-man from George Town and a 22-year-old-woman of George Town, have since been bailed pending further investigations.
Newball was not found at the address and is still sought by RCIPS
