(CMR) An employee at Health Care Pharmacy Ltd has tested positive for the coronavirus.
The company made the announcement on its Facebook page noting that the worker in question was employed at the Grand Harbour location.
“Health Care Pharmacy Limited has received confirmation from the Health Services Authority that one of our team members from our Grand Harbour location has tested positive,” read a post from the company on Wednesday (May 27) morning.
According to the company, the worker was asymptomatic.
Health Care Pharmacy Ltd noted that as a result of the finding, the pharmacy will be closed until Thursday, May 28, 2020.
The closure, according to the pharmacy company, will facilitate a “stringent sanitation procedure”.
Yesterday proved another dramatic day for the pharmacy when someone became will and required medical assistance. For some reason, that assistance meant that eight police officers also attended the location. Health Care Pharmacy shared:
“This photograph was taken yesterday, May 25th outside our pharmacy when the emergency services arrived to assist a sick client that had arrived ill (NOT COVID-19) at the pharmacy. We called the emergency services to help the client.
The Governor's Square location of the establishment remains open.
