(CMR) Jason Howard, operations manager at Hurley's Media, will be leaving the Cayman Islands after a tumultuous number of years at the organization. His last show will be on Wednesday morning.
Exclusive CMR sources understand that he held an exclusive staff meeting with all non-Caymanian staff yesterday announcing his departure. The decision comes on the heels of an expose written by Cayman Marl Road at the end of August highlighting his numerous infractions during his tenure on island.
We understand that the owner of Hurley's Media has decided not to renew his work permit after his immigration appeal application was denied. However, despite his planned departure he was overheard telling a female co-worker earlier this week:
“You can't afford to get any uglier”
After he noticed her walking down the hallway on her phone and warned she could injure herself.
Howard is known for his degrading and rude remarks most notably towards women and Caymanians; including his subordinates at work.
For his part, Howard is prepared to keep up appearances at least on social media. After de-activating his Facebook account in late August he has now re-emerged and is promoting properties for William2 Real Estate company.
We understand Howard will be returning to his native New York in the immediate future. Numerous current and past employees of Hurley's Media were delighted to hear of this latest development.
