(CMR) Exclusive CMR sources have indicated that suspect Randy Dixon (33) has been arrested on suspicion of being the driver that hit and fatally killed Brac resident Mitchel Marvin Ryan on March 22.
We understand he was arrested today and bailed by his family member.
For several days now CMR had intel that Randy Dixon and another man were parties of interest in this matter after the car was recovered and through to be the one that killed the 55-year-old. Apparently, an accident investigator was on the Brac since Monday inquiring about the matter. It appears there was some confusion as to who may have been driving the vehicle despite Dixon being the owner. We do understand that the other party of interest was the one who actually called the police and notified them that someone was found lying in the street.
CMR exclusive sources informed us that cameras found saw them pasting the gas station and Port Authority and then showed them later passing back coming from the westerly direction. They may have gone home and to later return to claim they simply found him.
We further understand that it is alleged a close family member was assisting him at 6:30 am that morning cleaning the vehicle.
