(CMR) A local driver involved in a recent hit and run incident is appealing for the public's assistance in locating the driver that left the scene.
The accident occurred on Valentine's Day, February 14, 2019 in the vicinity of Savannah Seventh Day Adventist Church. It has been shared with CMR that the driver of an older model burgundy Chevrolet hit a small BMW 115i series vehicle. The male driver then proceed to leave the scene of the accident before the BMW driver was able to exit the car.
Their vehicle would have sustained front end damage in particular to the headlights which were left at the scene.
Anyone with information that could assist with identifying the driver is asked to contact CMR, Crime Stoppers or the RCIPS.
