(CMR) A Jamaican female has become the second causality on Cayman Roads for 2018 after sustaining fatal injuries in a head-on collision in the vicinity of Watering Place, Cayman Brac
CMR sources indicate that the head-on collision involved a black vehicle and a blue jeep and occurred after 10:00 pm. The deceased is said to be a government agency worker and was on her way to work the night shift at the time.
At this time we have no details on the condition of the male driver of the other vehicle.
A mere 10 days ago a 28-year-old was killed in East End.

Police say a woman who was driving a Toyota RAV 4 was killed following a collision late Tuesday night in Cayman Brac.
The Royal Cayman Islands Police Service (RCIPS) in a release on Wednesday said they were called to the scene of a collision shortly before 11:00 PM on February 27 on Bright Road in the vicinity of Tibbet’s Turn Road, Cayman Brac, involving a Toyota RAV4 and a Honda Integra.
The driver of the RAV4, a 51-year-old woman od Cayman Brac was pronounced dead at the scene.
The man driving the Honda Integra was transported to the Faith Memorial Hospital, where he is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
The collision is currently being investigated by the police.

From RCIPS: Police can now confirm the name of the woman who died in the fatal collision which took place in Cayman Brac on Tuesday, 27 February. She is Sharon Gayle-Clarke, aged 51, who resided in Cayman Brac and was originally from Jamaica.
The RCIPS offers condolences to the family of the deceased.
Gayle-Clarke, born in Jamaica but a longtime resident of Cayman Brac with her husband.
She worked at the Kirkconnell Community Care Centre on Cayman Brac for close to 20 years, in the adult special needs program, taking care of the elderly. The center is operated by the Department of Children and Family Services.
At the time of the accident, Mrs. Gayle-Clarke was heading to work for her 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. shift.
There were no passengers in the car with Mrs. Gayle-Clarke at the time of the accident. The driver of the other car, a Honda Integra, involved in the accident, was transported to Faith Memorial Hospital where he was being treated Wednesday for non-life-threatening injuries.
