According to Information from Roatan, missing are citizens Sergio Green Castro (Captain), Domingo Peri Suazo, Dilson Suazo García, Gerardo Martínez Green, José Víctor Casildo and Dayton Rodríguez Martínez. They are joined by Gerardo Álvarez Castillo, José Castro Alvares, Edson Castillo Green, José Suazo Mejía, Claudio Green Castro, Henrry Morales Green, Leónidas Álvarez Martínez, Lander Núñez Arriola and Víctor Castillo Mauricio.
The vessel was reportedly en route to Port Royal when communication was lost. The Jamaica Defence Force said the vessel's last known position was 77 nautical miles west of Middle Cay on the Pedro Banks. The JDF Coast Guard and Air Wing conducted a search and rescue operation, but the fishermen have not been seen.
American and Honduran authorities are assisting with the search. Other Caribbean countries have also been asked to look out for the fishermen who could be floating around.
